The KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker was designed to ensure the bowl stays colder longer** for a consistent texture across recipes, and more scoopable ice cream out of the bowl.
*Sold separately, fits all Tilt-Head Stand Mixers (KSM45, KSM150, KSM160, KSM180, KSM192, KSM195), except the 3.3L Artisan Mini Stand Mixer KSM3311; and does fit selected Bowl-Lift Stand Mixers (KSM60, KSM70 and KSM7581), does not fit KSMC895 and KPM5.
